Google Earth can be an essential tool to educate the public about your non-profit's cause. While many organizations find the Google Earth client can bring causes to life, some might find the added features of Google Earth Pro useful in connecting with citizens, impacting public policy and internal decision making.  Google Earth Pro is available at no cost to eligible non-profit organizations in several countries. Google Earth is an outstanding tool for:

• Import the results of your spatial data analysis for legislators, stakeholders and the public to understand your issue within minutes and make decisions based upon the geospatial data you present

• Communications directors and grassroots activists use high-resolution printing feature in Google Earth Pro to print out Google Earth images for hearings and poster sessions

• Often, areas where NGOs work are remote or difficult to access. Help people understand what is happening on location by creating scenic flyovers and narrated tours in Google Earth. Use Google Earth Pro to record tours as .mov, .wmv or .avi files with Movie Maker to help lead people through the areas affected

Many NGOs, including environmental groups, indigenous communities, research institutions, humanitarian organizations and disaster relief groups have been using Google Earth Pro and the free version to spread awareness about their causes.
