GIVE ME BODY! F' Karl Lagerfeld. (F is for Fat)

I'm sorry, I gotta' break out the soap box folks.  Karl Lagerfeld really needs to suffer from an acute case of humility.  I hope he falls down, hemorrhaging from it.  Check out this piece from UK's Telegraph where Lagerfeld is noted in an interview as saying "No one wants to see curvy women."  He goes on to say "You've got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly."

Karl. I think all the food deprivation is making you mad. Eat a meal instead of having a caffeine colonic and eating 3 classic 140 calorie South Beach Diet bars a day.  Maybe have a cookie.  I don't eat chips.  I'm not a mother, maybe a MF'er-- and I don't watch TV.

Also, really???  A guy designing for women who doesn't want to see curves?  Really mate? That is like an architect designing a building without windows.

I live on curves.  Ever since I was breast fed. Who wants to see another woman with a skinny flat narrow ass on the runway? No offense, but there is and has never been a shortage of them.  Don't get me wrong, being healthy and fit is preffered (I've adopted a fitness lifestyle, and it was no easy task) but that doesn't mean we want our women looking like Bratz dolls.

Give me Marilyn Monroe or Pam Grier---any day over Kokaine Kate Moss. Sorry to offend the aging G-d's of fashion...but all dinosaur's go extinct.  Fashion and art are supposed to be about creative independence and exploring beauty.  We shouldn't be bound by rules.  Art should have no rules.  Rules inhibit innovation.  No innovation, no art.

Karl, sorry to bust your bubble, but that entire tragic shirt collar thing?  WTF?  Okay, one time...3 times...even a half a dozen.  But everytime you are out there. Get a V-Neck and stop hiding your turkey gobble.  Mix it up. You are creeping me out like the Joker or a bad enemy agent from Austin Power's.  I like the old Phillip Seymour Hoffman-ish Lagerfeld better.  This new one is so G.W. Bush pre-Lehmans.

glad to see that the most important item on women in 2009 is curve - no curve. as for men, what matters is money - no money, right? bye bye babies...
