We're not sure where you see the '20 escudos' denomination, JonhyBoy - this design was only used for the 1 escudo coin minted in 1914 to commemorate the Portuguese 5th of October revolution in 1910 - the coup d'etat which replaced the old monarchy with the modern republican regime.
Catalog values are fairly high, thanks to the somewhat low mintage of a million coins, and the breathtakingly beautiful design!
