Human Torch (also known as Johnny Storm) is an intelligent, but arrogant sport extremist. He was exposed to a cosmic cloud which altered his DNA giving him the ability to envelop his body in fiery plasma, allowing him to create a thrust behind himself to take flight, and to create projectile balls or streams of fire. In addition, he can form flames to create large shapes like rings at will, all without harm to himself.
