Português: Sítio de Alburrica e Mexilhoeiro e seu Património Moageiro, Ambiental e Paisagístico - sítio de interesse municipal em Portugal -Toda esta zona é constituída por duas pequenas penínsulas, formadas por aluviões e consolidadas sobre ostreiro, com ocupação provável desde o neolítico, de acordo com os achados em pedra, recolhidos nos anos 60 (pesos, machados, furadores), e compreendendo duas praias, um antigo sapal, onde marinhas de sal deram origem a 4 caldeiras , servindo 4 moinhos de maré. Os moinhos de maré eram pequenos complexos que compreendiam a casa da moagem, o armazém, a casa do moleiro, o cais de embarque, o barco do moinho e a caldeira. No seu todo cada moinho era um pequeno complexo industrial, povoado por gente especializada em diferentes ocupações: moleiro, ajudante de moleiro, feitor, rendeiro, carregador, arrais e companheiro do barco do moinho... Neste sítio encontramos, mais precisamente na Ponta do Mexilhoeiro, os vestígios da primeira e da segunda pontes de embarque dos Vapores do Tejo e Sado. Em Alburrica para além dos 3 moinhos de vento, existem vestígios patrimoniais ligados à construção naval, que se manteve em laboração até meados do século XX. Na Quinta do Braamcamp há uma história a preservar e contar ligada a diversas actividades, todas elas de extrema importância, em diferentes épocas do nosso desenvolvimento: a agricultura, a pesca, os viveiros de peixe, a cortiça, a actividade moageira.
