The lovely little town of Teluk Dalam is an amazing fusion of beautiful scenery, captivating culture, and intriguing history, located on the southern tip of Nias Island, North Sumatra. Teluk Dalam is where surfing aficionados from across the globe and the Indonesian islands flock to try to conquer its amazingly thrilling waves. The town is also where the famous traditional ‘stone jumping’ feats take place, a heart-stopping sport requiring great acrobatic skills and athletic ability.

Teluk Dalam is the capital town of South Nias Regency administratively located within North Sumatra Province. In English, Teluk Dalam translates to the “Deep Gulf”. Meanwhile, the South Nias locals in their dialect refer to Teluk Dalam as Luahaziwara-wara, meaning “the meeting place” which perfectly represents the town as a center of activities it has been for generations.

Itinerary

DAY 01 : MEDAN – NIAS ISLAND

Flight to Gunungsitoli by WINGS AIR, Upon arrival in Binaka Airport Gunungsitoli will be met by Tour Guide. Drive to Lagundri Beach in Teluk Dalam. En – route enjoy the most beautiful of view and the village of Nias. Check in For accommodation.

DAY 02 : BAWOMATALUO TOUR (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Trip to Botohilitano and Bawomataluo village to see the Traditional village with the King’s House made from massive wood. Observed the megalithic cultures and the way life of Nias tribe, Stone Jumping and War Dance could be served on special request., Explore to Orahili dan Hilisimaetano traditional villages to see the habitual life of Nias tribe.

DAY 03 : GOMO MEGALITH TOUR EXPLORATION (B)

Beakfast at hotel. Fullday Tour. Drive to Lahusa and expolore to the oldest Megalith site at Lahusa Satu, Tetegewo, Tuhegeowe and Tundru Baho. Afternoon return to hotel.

DAY 04 : LAGUNDRI BEACH – GUNUNG SITOLI (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Gunung Sitoli. Visit the northern Nias traditional houses at Tumori village. Arrival At Gunung Sitoli check in at Hotel Nasional or similar accommodation

DAY 05 : GUNUNG SITOLI – MEDAN (B)

After breakfast transfer to Binaka airport for flight departure to Medan. Tour End
