A male Chinese penduline tit, which is deemed the architect among all bird species, was busy courting a female tit around the basket-shaped nest that it had carefully constructed.

The nest is mainly made up of wool and catkins, and the particular shape requires very sophisticated climbing, flying and knitting skills.
