Faye Wong faces another cosmetic procedure rumour

6 Sep – Not long after she was rumoured to have undergone plastic surgery, Chinese songstress Faye Wong is associated with yet another rumour about injecting Botox to get a younger looking skin.

As reported on China News website, the singer was recently accused of getting Botox jabs after she was spotted visiting a beauty centre in July.

It was also rumoured that the singer has invited a famous plastic surgeon from Taiwan by the name of Wang Zhao Hui to her house for beauty treatment due to China's medical restrictions.

Sources claimed that the cost of the treatment, called Tong Yan injection, is around NTD 5 million (USD 167,785). It supposedly enhances and tightens the facial skin to avoid from sagging, as well as stimulate skin renewal with a small possibility of side effects.

It was reported that people who applies the treatment will have to pay attention to their daily habits, such as avoiding spicy food, drinking a lot of water and avoid sunlight.

However, when asked to address the rumours, Faye's manager brushed it aside and said, "I've never heard it."
