Down the Rabbit Hole with Tom Binns for Disney – Alice in Wonderland

Tom Binns for Disney Couture Alice in Wonderland Red Queen Collection

On Friday evening we invited a whole host of lovely Disney Couture fans to join us down the Rabbit Hole to celebrate the launch of Tom Binns collaboration with Disney and the Alice in Wonderland inspired jewellery collections. Fashion press, bloggers, buyers and industry insiders came to join us at The Soho Hotel for a magical night of drinks and jewellery, and then a very exclusive 3-D screening of Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice In Wonderland.

Tom Binns has worked his unique flair on two jewellery collections in association with Disney, which features designs influenced by the story’s principal characters including Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Red Queen, the White Queen and the White Rabbit. The first collection, the Tom Binns for Walt Disney Signature line offers a limited edition collection of six high-end jewellery pieces designed in Binn’s coveted runway style.

The second collection Tom Binns for Disney Couture is for Disney’s popular jewellery line and will offer 35 pieces, again all featuring Binn’s unique design style, which also include pieces inspired by the Cheshire Cat, the tea party, the Talking Flower, and incorporates elements such as photo inlay, lace accents and Swarovski crystals.

Our lovely (and very stylish) guests included Brix Smith-Start, Erdem, Vogue, Instyle, ES magazine, WGSN, the asos girls, the Selfridges team, BitchBuzz, Mademoiselle Robot, Marion Kihogo, Fashion Daydreams, My Fashion Life, SaveOurShoes, Retro Chick and many, many more fabulous guests!

There were several people dressed up for the occasion, wearing very fash-tastic tributes to Alice in Wonderland, including stylist and blogger, Marian, from Marian Kihogo (pictured above) and blogger, Fiona, from SaveOurShoes, who both get joint first prize for ‘Ode to Alice’ outfits (I went for a Red Queen-esque outfit with lashings of Red, while Tori went as a demure Alice in lace and baby blue)! And even more guests came wearing Disney Couture Jewellery (Brix wore the ‘Drink Me’ necklace and Katie from TruffleShuffle was wearing the ‘Pocket Watch’ necklace).
