Faye Wong's ex-hubby married and welcomed a child
16 Mar – Faye Wong's ex-husband and former actor Li Yapeng recently announced that he is now married and has welcomed a new child with his new wife.
Several months following rumours that he is expecting a child with Nuosu model Haiha Jinxi, who is 19 years his junior, the 50-year-old businessman shared a video on Weibo, in which he revealed that he has tied the knot with the model and beauty queen. Jinxi was China's Miss Tourism Queen in 2006 and a finalist at Miss China World in 2011.
In the same video, Li also revealed that the two have already welcomed their child.
It was early this month that Li was spotted at a medical centre with a heavily pregnant Jinxi, though he made no comments about it when asked by the media.
Li, who has starred in several TV series including CCTV's "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" (2003) before retiring from showbiz in 2010, was most known for his marriage to songstress Faye Wong. The couple are also parents to young model, Li Yan.
However, the couple announced their divorce in 2013 after eight years of marriage.
