Electricity Museum and its collection

Electricity Museum
Source

The Museu da Electricidade (The Electricity Museum), is one of the finest examples of industrial construction in Portugal in the first half of the 20th century, located in Lisbon. It is a cultural center and museum of science for the general public. Its exhibition rooms show the past, present and future of energy, while various cultural and commercial events take place alongside thematic and experimental exhibitions. The entire complex of the Central Tejo (The Tejo Power Station) consists of a former thermo-electric power plant, which supplied power to Lisbon and its surroundings.
