Akureyri Golf Club, the world’s second most northerly golf course, is a moorland-style 18 holes set on Iceland’s northern coast where you can swing into the wee hours of the day during June and July. The 600-member club outside of the country’s second largest city dates back to 1935 and plays host to the most unique tournament on the planet, The Arctic Open. The 29th annual tournament will be held over the summer solstice between June 25th and 27th under the Stableford point system (higher scores win), with tee times beginning at 4 P.M. and running through 9 A.M.
