'Business on top, Björk on the bottom!' Laura Dern gets savaged on Twitter as her outfit is compared to THAT swan dress from the 2001 Oscars

Laura Dern found herself to be ruthlessly mocked on Twitter Sunday night, as she turned up for the 93rd Academy Awards in an ensemble similar to Björk's infamous swan dress from the 2001 Oscars.

'Business on top, Björk on the bottom!' one Twitter user wrote about her ensemble, which featured very large feathers, with a black turtleneck top.

'Did Laura Dern recycle half of that iconic Bjork dress or what?' one said, while another wrote: 'Why does Laura Dern look like she’s cosplaying Steve Jobs and Bjork?'

Others quipped that the 54-year-old actress way purposefully paying tribute to the look, as it is the 20th anniversary of that show's topping fashion moment.

Dern certainly turned heads when she arrived on the red carpet wearing a skirt full of white feathers and a fitted black top, which helped showcase her fit figure.

The Los Angeles native styled her blonde tresses with plenty of soft waves and a part on the slight right, which partially covered her left eye

She accessorized with a pair of black heels and long dangling earrings.

Dern also presented the award for Best Supporting Actor, along with some lovely words about the performances of each nominee.

In the end, the Oscar went to Daniel Kaluuya for his role in Judas and the Black Messiah.
