The Guardian reported on Saturday that Van Persie had agreed terms with the Turkish side after two days of negotiations carried out by his agent Kees Vos.
While Vos was not willing to comment when asked about possible interest from Fenerbahce, he was adamant that no transfer has been completed.

"If Robin had found a new club, we would have announced it," Voss told Voetball International.
"All I can say is that tomorrow [Monday], Robin will be back at Manchester United to report for the first training session."
Rumours suggest that the 31-year-old has agreed terms on a four-year deal in Istanbul and is likely to cost around £5m in transfer fees.
If Van Persie does complete the move he will join another Manhcester United old-boy, Nani, at the club.
The Portugese international winger was mobbed by fans on Sunday evening as he jetted in ahead of a medical.
