Okay so initially, it does smell like a sharp nice cherry. But then it turns into this almost scary realistic cigarette smell, but like…. the smell on the brown leather jacket of your secret boyfriend that smokes cigarettes and is no good for you but IS good in bed. It has something sweet about it too, I think the violet and orris mix with the cherry and it becomes this like musky tart sweet note. I love the notes but after reading the reviews I was worried I’d hate it, but not even close.
The dry down reminds me weirdly of Mojave Ghost with a more leather and cigarette. You really do have to like leather for this, and not mind the slight unlit cigarette smell. I love this one

mschnabel666

A rich, fantastic, indie dupe of this is Solstice Scents Red Leather Black Lace. While RLBL doesn't note any cherry, you def get that feel of a leather jacket and cherry chapstick. Ruby Woo hasn't gone into OOP crazy prices yet, but it prob will.

amyaz

On me I mostly get the violets (like powdery candied violets) leather, and slightly woody smell. No cherries at all sadly. It isn't bad, I'm sure if I owned a bottle I would use it, but it isn't something I'm sad that is discontinued.
If I had to pick, this smells exactly like Floral Street's wild vanilla orchid perfume mostly, with a touch of TF Tuscan leather.
Edit- could have lived without it but I ended up with a full bottle cause I got a super good deal on it, which was nice because I always liked wild vanilla orchid but this was better imo because it has a little more edge to it. Looking forward to wearing it in cooler months.
Edit 2- sold the bottle like a month later. It just wasn't worth keeping around for me I guess.

I love this cherry chapstick fragrance, it reminds me of summer evenings at the home of my friend’s chainsmoking grandmother, cuddling up on their leather couch to watch hit 80s films. Despite the middle school nostalgia, however, it definitely doesn't read as a 'teen' perfume--it's more akin to how I think Cher's character in Moonstruck might smell. Tough, confident, but a romantic at heart.

astamm62

I didn't like this at all..I thought it smelled like pickle juice.

eau de dosa

Smells good initially but the leather and suede kicks in. The dry down is the best par. I have samples and I really can’t decide if I should buy a bottle or not. This would be good for layering 1 or 2 sprays with similar fragrances.

LMBelvi

I thought I might really like this because I adore Cherry Punk, and I even thought there might be an interesting "horse race" between the two scents that feature cherry and leather. I will still test them side by side at a later time, but I already know that this one is not worth my time. On me it is so overpowered by the leather note that it is almost a completely linear scent... and I like leather, but not THIS much leather. It's harsh and "bad girl" (or boy) but not in an interesting way...

I'll stick with my Cherry Punk and encourage others to jump ship, especially if you would like more cherry to balance things out.

Had this perfume gave it away. Smells like someone in a leather jacket wearing cherry chapstick and smell of a gone cigarette/last nights bonfire. I want to like it, I want to be attracted to it....i just can't. It gives me such a headache and honestly.... I just can't make this perfume *my personal* vibe period in any way. It's a wish I liked this for me. Literally have to shower twice to get the scent off you, has insane projection and long long lasting. If only it smelled as good as its lasting quality.....

Air.astarte

Someone just spilled maraschino cherries on my brand new platform knee high leather boots and I'm going to shove their face in it.
Imagine you're the one who gets your face shoved - that's exactly what it smells and feels like.

This fragrance convinced me to branch out more into leathers. I love it. Unfortunately I haven't loved any other leathers so far.
Ruby Woo androgynous and forceful. I still wear it occasionally even thought I know it gives me a headache. It lasts all day on my skin and I can sense both the cherry and the leather until I wash it off. For me, all of the other notes listed can be cropped out.

ingeneuxo

-Discontinued scent. (It seems)
-Ruby Woo is said to be a dupe of TF-Tuscan Leather.
-Having never smelled Tuscan Leather, I can't confirm that.
-Leans masculine with prominent leather notes.
-Turns faint-smelling within a matter of hours. (-)

fyetan

Impression from a scent card: very woody, almost animalic cherry. Deep and kind of smokey.

Florence27

Having tried Lady Danger and being blown away by it, I decided to try Ruby Woo, as it was inexpensive.

In the opening I was a bit disappointed, since, it felt a tad too fruity. I don't get medicinal cherry, as I read in some reviews, just a bit childish cherry, like a candy. I could smell the saffron and pepper, as well. Fortunately, after a while it subsided and, man, is it leathery. During this middle part it is dark and maybe more on the masculine side. Leather jacket vibes dominate from the beginning. The mahogany projects hard as well.
In the drydown, mildly sweet floral notes make their presence, and leather gives way to suede, creating an overall more balanced and feminine scent.

Don't you just love it when you find perfumes and think, "this is me" ? I felt that with Lady Danger. Ruby Woo feels like it's a part of me, too. Or, a past me.

Ruby Woo is a strong like, not a love, but I can't wait to wear it with my leather jacket on a crisp autumn day. It's a very interesting fragrance, certainly not a crowd pleaser. I would even describe it as sophisticated - not the kind of sophistication you find in Chanel fragrances, for sure. I picture it on goth girls - I have been one - or generally people who enjoy a rock 'n' roll/heavy metal lifestyle. She's definitely tough.

What surprised me the most was that, when I layered it with L'Interdit Intense, as I like to play with scents, the latter disappeared.
One Ruby Woo spray, three L' Interdit Intense and it was just gone. L'Interdit is a strong perfume that lasts and projects for hours and after an hour with our girl here, there's not the faintest trace.

Bottom line, if you want an intro to leather perfumes, Ruby Woo is a good point to start, since it's cheap, long lasting, pretty mild and feels unisex.

PS. Comparison to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather is a joke, sorry. A common main note doesn't make two perfumes similar.

labonvie

I always scoffed at the idea of MAC perfume, which makes no sense because they are part of Estée, as is Tom Ford. At any rate, I purposely ignored all their fragrance offerings until a friend suggested I try this, knowing I love leathers. And, it’s love! Smokey leather with a kiss of cherry. Assuming I can ever leave my house again (pandemic still raging) I will wear this with my leather moto vest and Ruby Woo on my lips. I am little concerned that I smell like a closet smoker, but not concerned enough to stop me from wearing this like the (sometimes) bad girl I am (pretend to be). This is a great, inexpensive unisex leather that reminds me strongly of TF Tuscan Leather. Not a dupe, but birthed from the same mother.

Bottom line: This is a really addictive, wearable leather that is a touch sweeter than Tuscan Leather. I can’t stop smelling this. I am wearing it in 110 degree weather and it’s great, though probably better in winter. Plus, it lasts 10-12 hours on my perfume-devouring skin. If you were disappointed that La Petite Robe Noire Black Perfecto was light on leather, try this! Love!

Konga5000

Heads Up For Blind Buyers: 1) This is NOT a Tuscan Leather clone-- it feels at least 3 or 4 steps removed. 2) It's VERY synthetic. 3) It's very unisex. 4) The fruit notes are a little on the sour side. If you can deal with those 4 hurdles -- longevity is pretty good, the bottle is nice and people will notice this on you! Your husband/boyfriend/lover will probably be borrowing this as well. I'm glad I got it -- I like "leather cheapies" and this feels pretty strong on me (it's hot outside). So..............

natalijaostojic

I just got it ... Tuscan leather. This has nothing to do with a woman's perfume. A real perfume for men. I don't like it at all.

sarahcapo

I've had this in my collection for awhile and left it sitting in the back, unused. I always thought it smelled way too strong, leathery, masculine. It's funny when you find resemblances to other, more "respectable" or niche fragrances that you start to appreciate your inexpensive little gems... my boyfriend's signature scent is TF Tuscan Leather and I'm obsessed by him wearing it. I find it to be the sexiest, most alluring and intoxicating fragrance he owns. So much so that I would think, "I wish there were a female equivalent." Just recently and just for fun I decided to search my lesser worn fragrances here on Fragrantica and when I saw that Ruby Woo was compared to Tuscan Leather I couldn't believe my eyes. Lo and behold, I rushed to my collection, and with my Ruby Woo in one hand and his Tuscan Leather in the other I was SHOCKED at the resemblance. They are SO SIMILAR that I kicked myself for not realizing it sooner! Ruby Woo definitely has just a tinge of floral/fruit that makes it more feminine. I look forward to finally getting use of this in the colder months.

loverdoll78264

Ruby Woo is a strong love for me! The dark, syrupy cherries; the red, well worn, leather;
the overall bad girl vibe here is impressive, as is the strong sillage and staying power. Yes,
there is a light cigarette note here too, but being bad is so, so good!

TonyAKAMrClean

I didn't know this existed... well, I did, but I had such a bad encounter with My Heroine that I never even considered this one...

But as a man who wears Tuscan Leather and its clones and who also loves the sharp cherry tones in Mugler Pure Havane, I saw the listed notes and INSTANTLY got excited!

I've been wearing this one since I bought it, and sure enough, it is AMAZING. Completely unisex, nothing too feminine about it, but comparing this to a woman's pinup style red patent leather stiletto is not far off. The rose is detectable in the far drydown, but this is a soft taif rose, not a heady feminine rose, so to my guys out there, don't let that note intimidate you. Surprisingly, the cherry is nice and sharp! This falls right in between Atelier Oud Saphir and Montale Aoud Leather for me, but with no oud like those two, of course.

If you're in the market, I would seriously consider this as an alternative to Oud Saphir, if you like cherry. And at this price, there's no reason not to buy it! Get it while it's available, because i'm sure this will be sought after when it's gone. I may have potentially bought a couple backup bottles... #noguilt

I'm exploring the Shadescents this winter. I love Velvet Teddy & My Heroine, both of which assaulted my senses in the best of harshest ways. Velvet Teddy storms into the room in a dense cloud of smoldering honey & vanilla flavored tobacco. My Heroine screams like an angry mechanic who just extinguished an electrical fire. I don't love Creme D'Nude but I like the way it slinks around leaving a clingy and persistent musky trail. Ruby Woo arrived today and we're still introducing ourselves to one another. She's not sure she likes me and I'm not sure I like her but we're trying.

Harsh leather is the first note I perceive and find it fades to well-worn suede over the course of a couple of hours. Maybe I've worn too much LPRN lately where cherry predominates because I seem to be anosmic to cherry in Ruby Woo. Instead my nose picks up a watery but dirty violet and, remarkably, a very strong wood smoked Lapsang Souchong tea which no one else has mentioned.

Leather and tea is not at all what I was expecting but as the day progressed I've found myself reapplying every couple of hours on the back of my hands, not because it's faded but just because I'm craving this odd combination full strength and because --and I can't explain it-- Ruby Woo does indeed smell red. Before sniffing any of the Shadescents I read about the concept but Velvet Teddy and Creme D'Nude don't smell beige or brown to me nor does My Heroine smell purple but Ruby Woo absolutely positively smells red. Not fire engine red, not tomato red... more like the apple that put Snow White to sleep, or in a coma depending upon your point of view.

I doubt Ruby Woo is suitable for warm weather so we'll be keeping company for the rest of the winter and through early spring. Maybe we'll come to like each other, but maybe not. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

octobertragedy

As the previous reviewer said, this feels the kind of fragrance for which you never seem to be prapared for. I personally adore sniffing it from the cap, always thinking "oh wow...this is mesmerising...". It is so sexy, daring, leathery, peppery and...gorgeous!
During the time the collection was launched, being in the store I was hesitating between this and My Heroine, because the rest did not necessarily appeal to me (too fruity or too sweet). Shares the same leather note as My Heroine, but this has those beautiful cherry and pink pepper notes that makes it more feminine. The SA recommened My Heorine and convinced me. On the way home I was constantly sniffing my wrist in search of Ruby Woo. The next day, I went I got it...Love them both...
To me, the listed notes are very accurate, a unique blend that create a sexy, stunning, edgy, glamorous scent!

HelenaZ

Oof! This was a bit of a punch in the nose to sniff on the wrist up close. Strongly woody and leathery! Mahogany, dirty leather!!!!! Its impressive how much it smells like well worn old leather but I don't know if I can pull that off so well.... With my arm down by my side the sweetness of the cherry, orris and vague violet becomes more noticeable, but still has that roughness from the darker notes making a very unique fragrance. Smells badass punky and sexy. A perfume with attitude! Oh boy. I don't feel I'm enough for her.

who.am.i.you

Wow, this is an instant & unexpected love for me. I love how it is very soft, but such a beautiful sweet-accented suede. Does not remind me of a straight-up cherry lollipop at all, and the sweetness is there, but not the main player in this. I love all of the stages of it, but I especially love after the beginning notes settle down. They are beautiful as well, but it's a much stronger cherry beginning. It leads to something that smells velvety. UGH. It's gorgeous and they should keep it in production!!! I own Velvet Teddy too, and sniffed the purple one and enjoyed that. I would love to own them all. I might have to buy more of this from eBay since I can see myself spraying this liberally as it isn't as strong as it may seem by looking at the notes. Lasts a while, though!

Heaven In A Bottle

This frag has been my go to for the last 4 years and I'm absolutely devastated that they've discontinued it (crying a river) I have left about 3 sprays of this in my last bottle because I can't find one anywhere here in New Zealand, and I'm so scared of being without. This was my everyday frag and I hate being without it :( absolutely gutted, absolutely sucks!

If it didn't tick all my boxes, I wouldn't love this frag as much. Me in a bottle.

Stuff u Mac!!

gtabasso

Absolute fabulous blind buy. I am so in love with this. It is a dry smokey leather with lots of pink pepper in the top, some violet, cherry cough drop, lots of saffron, dry mahogany wood. This is NOT a sweet dessert cherry or gourmand. Nothing like Guerlain LPRN or that ilk. This is almost like the ashes of a cherry cigar in a leather and wood study or gentleman's club. Easily unisex. The more I wear it, it smells like an ashtray with red lipstick butts from a cherry lip gloss.

Konga5000

Again; Do. Not. Blind. Buy. as a Tuscan Leather clone.
DO BLIND BUY Nabeel Macho Man for a whole $7.00 ! Layer it with something "red berries".

tessture

The reviewer who said it was cherry lip-gloss and cigarette smoke was correct. It’s cigarette smoke on clothes; in this case it reminds me of smoke on my leather jacket. It would be a great call=back to my punk days if it didn’t also smell like some other woman’s perfume. The perfume note is loud and strong and in the end I had to scrub it off. I was pretty excited to try this series of scents, but they all turn nasty on me at some point and ruin the ride. Sad!

1aj

This is my first review—on a site I have followed for years. Ruby Woo—wow! Just wow! When I sprayed it, my husband said, “It smells like cherries!” It does! But, it’s deep, dark cherries, and then it’s leather—and it goes on and on. I’m in love with this! I think it’s amazing! (I have velvet teddy on the way.)

kl99

A perfect russian vampire princess scent. Dark smokey a bit ashtray actually that make it so underground.
Imagine a blond girl high tailed hair sitting on a black leather sofa wearing a long dress in chiffon, blood cherry color, heavy make up. Here you are.
It is a sort of dirty clean fragrance. The fruity notes are very clean and I notice almost a sort of aquatic aura in it.
Actually this perfume in the fruity version of My Heroine by this house.
Very unusual and sexy fragrance.

Dark Petal

I blind bought this for $20 at an Estée Lauder corporate store and I’m thinking of going back to buy a couple more at that bargain price.

I’m in love with the juicy leather vibes- Cherry Doc Martins in a bottle! I received more compliments for this than anything else I’ve worn in the past 6months. It’s got a smoky bad girl sort of vibe, but it’s not overpowering at all. After a few hours, it is like soft beige suede on my skin.

Now I need the lipstick to match!

mschnabel666

Take a biker's well worn leather jacket (with a hint of exhaust) and smear Cherry ChapStick all over it. Bam!

Take one squirt My Heroine and add five squirts of Lolita Lempicka Sweet.

I dig it. Cherry smoky leather.

aspirina

Wonderful! it really reminds me of Magnifique, at least the drydown is very similar! Very nice leather/rose/ cherry scent. It also resembles some aspects of Tuscan leather but the cherries and floral notes are so strong that makes the scent very feminine.

musenkata

I have no words to say how disgusting is this smell of poison to my nose. So pity.

get the Twist

I blind bought this on eBay and I am really glad I did ! :) This is a stunning LEATHER scent with a cherry twist. The saffron gives it some extra kick and the violet and orris some softness and powdery feel to it. Very bold, intense and longlasting with a huge personality.
I also have YSL Noble Leather which is also marvellous but this MAC one, for such a bargain price has a similar impact and vibe to it ... actually, I think Mac Ruby Woo has a more pleasant and feminine vibe due to the sweetness of the cherry accord. Mac Ruby Woo is very niche like, in my opinion!
I wear matte red lipstick, Mac's Ruby Woo, of course, very Dita Von Teese, vintage and Pinup Style and I think this perfume totally matches the bright red shade! Like the red soles of Louboutin shoes. It's ultra sexy, confident, sultry, decadent and bright. A true masterpiece for a Femme Fatale!
It stays for days on clothes! I would not wear this every day but for special occasions, to match a sexy look, it will be perfection :)

mapache

What a surprise !! I did not care for Mac Lady Danger,so I thought that since some reviewers said that Ruby Woo and Lady Danger were similar, that I would not like Ruby Woo. WRONG !!! Ruby Woo is an instant love for me, and probably because to my nose Ruby Woo is a sister to a new found love, the discontinued Adora by Kat Von D.
Woody/leather...and berry-ish./violet/rose..on the bottom.Great combo on my skin. Also, this has a vibe of Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Now (original, red bottle).
Lovinng Ruby Woo,Velvet Teddy and Creme D'Nude.
Wow...do I dare try My Heroine..???...which got very bad reactions/reviews...lol...Maybe,I will!!!

EDIT: Forgot to mention....the drydown of this ....has a lighter type TF Tuscan Leather vibe....for sure !!!! It is way more apparent after it drys down.

UnearthlyApothecary

WOW! This is a fine example of a very synthetic but very beautiful and finely crafted scent. I hear a lot of griping about how synthetic something smells but this one is nothing but and everything I love! I can pick out every note and they all blend into this strangely wonderful oddball concoction. It opens sweet and fruity cherry kinda lipsticky then strong leather jacket vibe leading into that lovely violet/suede combo that you get in Alkemia Deadly Nightshade (obviously violet and suede were made for each other) This is dominatrix in a bottle, you must love leather for this one and be at least a little open to something different.
I totally agree with Lipglossjunkee’s Rizzo/cig smoke vibe, bad girl in a bottle for sure! Also I got a 50 ml bottle on eBay so they ARE available somewhere :)

candyfluff

I am strangely addicted to this one bought it a few days ago and keep spraying it. Very obsessed with leather and the cherry keeps it girly. Wish it was a bit stronger but the leather is not in the base notes according to this site. Saving up for Bandit and Chanel Cuir de Russie next!!

Ms.Mink

I tried this fragrance because someone told me it was a dupe of Lancome’s discontinued Magnifique (my old signature). Well, after trying it, - I kind of agree, but not really. It’s not Magnifique. At first wiff, there is just a hint of resemblance, caused by the sweet cherry notes, but once the leather hits, it’s all over. Ruby Woo is probably the most similar fragrance I’ve ever tried to Magnifique, but the smokey leather notes just overpower the rest of the composition. - not bad on it’s own, if you like leather.

Ruby Woo could be the country-western flanker of Lancome’s Magnifique.

Astar

This smells surprisingly expensive, and I adore how similar it is to now discontinued Lancome Magnifique, which used to be my favourite scent of all times. It is gorgeously woody, spicy but also rather subtle and not headachy whatsoever. Saffron, sandalwood and a hint of rose is what reminds me of Magnifique. Leather and suede are there for gorgeous complexity of the composition, and cherry note is truly a cherry on top of this deep warming fragrance.

Daisy143

I like the cherry note. That;s about all I like.

justcallmed

I wanted to like this one because I love MAC the brand and the notes that comprise this one, but it just didn't work for my skin.

It starts out woody sweet on me and then dried down to an odd sickly sweet suntan lotion-ish smell which surprised me because nothing in it really screams summer. I bought it and wore it around and the longer I wore it the longer it started to disagree with me; first it was "I love it!" then it was "wait...is that me that smells like that?".

I will give it kudos to killer longevity and decent silage. The cherry note takes a backseat behind the leather and isn't sickly sweet but is there; kind of like a balancing note that keeps the leather and any wood notes from being too blunt and strong.

I was surprised I didn't like it because I wanted to and like a good solid smoky leather aroma but sadly it went back to the MAC store the next day.

Lipglossjunkee

First, let me say that I really love all six Shadescents fragrances....I had to be good and start off by buying only 3 and not the whole shebang. I knew I was going to fall in love with Velvet Teddy, but it was Ruby Woo that surprised me the most. I am ADDICTED to this scent. The notes are: leather, suede, cherry, violet, saffron, mahogany, sandalwood, rose, and orris. On me, the notes are cherry lipgloss and cigarette smoke, but in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. I smell like a bad girl, bad decisions, and a raunchy night on the town. I smell like a rockabilly queen, or like Rizzo getting ready for a night out with Kenickie. I ADORE THIS ONE. I am sad this only comes in the 30ml size as I want to bathe in it. I don't even like cigarette smoke, but this is amazing. I'll be grabbing a backup because you know MAC, they'll dc it before I can blink. The bottles are lovely as well, I love the design and how they match with the corresponding lipstick. Affordable at $57. A+

JackieM

MAC Velvet Teddy is the TF Tobacco Vanilla, and Ruby Woo is the Tuscan Leather. I would say that these fragrances are the clearest, most practical option for cheaper alternatives, though they certainly don't smell cheap. I would actually be shocked if imitating Tom Ford throughout most of this MAC line wasn't intentional because it's uncanny.

Tigerlillian

Ruby Woo starts off as suede with a bit of a smoky, spiciness about it, then transforms into smooth leather with dashings of woody rawness, never becoming too phenolic.

Leather is accompanied by a note of cherry all the way that also goes through a metamorphosis: light and fruity to start, then it develops a vinyl-like smoothness with traces of almond-marzipan and violet. Usually I have an aversion to cherry notes as they can turn to cough syrup on me. No cough syrup here, but the vinyl-like accord works so well in a slightly deviant way, much the same as iris does in many leather perfumes.

Although this scent is absolutely worthy of the darkly stylistic woman who wears MAC's Ruby Woo shade of lipstick, I think that a man could rock this plinky leather scent too.

karlee79

Smells of old men on parliament hill

chicagogirl

This is a very acquired taste kind of perfume. Not for the average gourmand, vanilla, floral fruity perfume lover like myself. It's very sharp, very serious, spicy, no frills. It honestly smells like old rotting lettuce to me along with stale cigarette smoke - it reminds me of an old house you'd visit for an estate sale or something. I just don't associate a lipstick like ruby woo with this kind of scent - but oh well.

EnergeticCrab

I was fully expecting to have this one as my favorite of the Shadescents line. However, Ruby Woo just isn't my thing.

This fragrance smells fruity in the bottle, and during its opening. However, it quickly slides into the background to let the leather and woods take center stage. This is not a warm leather! This is not a cowboy scent. On me, it smells literally like car seats. Personally, I like the smell of a leather car interior baking in the sun. However, that has a heat and warmth to it. This is a very cold leather. Like fetishwear in a sex dungeon. You could definitely wear Ruby Woo to a basement club for "alternative lifestyles". I think this is the pink pepper's fault. Again, it is not a warm spice, here. Think "cool as a cucumber" or the sour note of house paint. The orris, suede, and saffron make this perfume sort of musty and dank, which is why I may be getting a dirty, 'underground' feel. The cherry and sandalwood are what remains towards the end of wear, I wish they didn't go into hiding and stayed out during a majority of the day.

Ruby Woo, in my opinion, is the most unisex of the line, tied with My Heroine. It is also one of more "meh" fragrances from the line. It's more leathery than Creme de Nude and My Heroine, and less fruity than Lady Danger. But not as intrusive as My Heroine. Wear this to the club and nowhere else.

UPDATE: I wore this in warmer weather and it has a much more fruity quality than when I initially tested this (in early spring). Like many fragrances, Ruby Woo changes based on your skin temperature.

Betsywoolbright

Notes look nice enough (cherry is a nice break from the terribly overused raspberry) but I'd feel like an idiot if someone asked me what I was wearing and I had to reply, "Ruby Woo."

smellslovely

A lighter version of TF Tuscan Leather. As I've mentioned on other reviews, Mac and TF both owned by Ester Lauder ...hmmmmm ...it's a beauty

pauroj

ruby woo is the perfect red and i really mean it i collect them, ruby woo looks good on everyoneeeeeee trust me is my love along with lady danger and the juice fits the lips, not as unique as my heroine but it is very good

mac come on make them permanent

claudia0219

Pass for me also, smells chemical, yes I do get the leather but its more like burnt leather and turned into a scrubber on me, its not a soft lovely leather, harsh and abrasive on the skin.

scythe

This was my favorite of the bunch. I didn't smell any leather and although no one else has mentioned it I smelled a very pretty teA note. This is the kind of perfume that could be a daily workhorse type of scent. Inoffensive and very easy to wear. Noticeable without being intrusive. unisex and appropriate for any age.

FatFragHead

This is a nice somewhat bright scent. Comes across with iris to my nose. Def has a leather, iris, lipstick smell. If you are. Guy who wears TF Black Orchid, Dior Homme Intense, then you will like this. Pleasant unisex frag with good projection for about 4 hrs indoors, it seems to kick up some outside even in cold air so warmer weather would have this probably kind of strong.

lollipop28

~Official description~ Ruby Woo ~ a woody floral featuring red leather. ["An arresting rouge-red fragrance inspired by the legendary shade of Ruby Woo. Sultry deep red leather commands attention, while luscious bites of mouth-watering wild cherry pop with rich saffron and pink pepper, making a memorable first impression. A scent of suede violet, Orris Florentine and timeless Centifolia rose adds a hint of floral. Finally, a sensual trail of bold sandalwood and mahogany wood leaves them desperate for more."]
