Ivanka Trump is set to take the stand next week in the New York attorney general’s business fraud case against her family, following a Thursday decision by the Appellate Division, First Department.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, who is overseeing the case, last week denied a motion to quash the AG’s subpoena of Trump. Her lawyer, Bennet Moskowitz of Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders, swiftly appealed the decision and sought an interim stay, arguing that his client would suffer undue hardship and irreparable harm if forced to testify.
