Bouncing the light with a reflector or a bounce card

- Often when you start out working with strobes, you may only have a single strobe to work with and no additional modifiers. Here, I'm going to show you how you can use a single strobe light and a reflector or some foam core to fill in some shadows. Now I've already taken a picture of Stacey with this single light, without a modifier. And as you can see, there's a lot of nice light on the right side of her face but I have a lot of shadow on the left side. And I'm going to use a piece of foam core, which you can get at any art supply store, to use as a bit of a reflector to see if I can bring the light up on left side of her face. So I'm going to just take a shot here. And it's helped a little bit. But Ian, you can actually step in closer and hold it a little bit more vertical.
