Paolo Serpieri: Retrospective

Huberty & Breyne, Brussels

Brussels | Belgium
Feb 15, 2018 - Feb 25, 2018
Marc Breyne and Alain Huberty are delighted to present the work of Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri in Brussels. This Italian author started his career as a painter and became a comic book artist later on in the 70s. His early adventures take place in the far-west (pas sure de la trad en anglais) but he has received international recognition for his erotic sci-fi series Druuna in the 80s. Serpieri likes volume, fusion between organic and inert materials, well-rounded women and tough men! We’d like to invite you to discover a selection of his most famous drawings and comic boards.
