Fishing Port and Market of O Grove

Description

The port of O Grove is the main fishing port, where the market and Plaza de Abastos are located. In addition, this is place of departure for the tour boats that visit the rafts (bateas) and offer sampling of Arousa mussels and Galician wine.

The Port of Meloxo is the docking spot mainly for mussel boats, but also coastal fishing boats. The Salgadeira de Moreiras, an old fish-salting plant that is located in front of the shore, offers an exceptional panoramic view of this port with the atmosphere of the authentic marine tradition.
