Carey Mulligan Wore Alaïa To The Oscars Nominees Luncheon

Carey Mulligan attended Oscars Nominees Luncheon held at The Beverly Hilton yesterday in California, ahead of the BAFTAs on Sunday, where the British actress is nominated in the Best Actress category for ‘Maestro.’  

This Alaïa Spring 2024 black zipped high-neck jacket with a matching pencil skirt doesn’t exactly scream “luncheon,” but it does scream Carey Mulligan between awards season ceremonies.

Had it not been for the gold Alaïa Bumber belt, this look would have flown completely under the radar for me.

Black pumps without the ankle strap would have worked better for me considering the length of the skirt.

Wishing for the runway shoes would be a pipe dream.
