Carey Mulligan Wore Armani Privé To The 2024 SAG Awards

Carey Mulligan decided to bring her end of the awards season “mike drop” moment a few weeks early.

As we all know Carey has been giving us mostly black or black-and-white gowns this awards season, and judging by her awards season track record, she was likely to give us something completely unexpected on Oscar night, but we got that moment at the 2024 SAG Awards, and what a moment it was.

I’m sure you all recognise the craftsmanship of Giorgio Armani, who crafted this custom Armani Privé strapless draped gown which was styled with the most perfect 1930’s gold and diamond swirl necklace by Rene Boivinn.

I’m guessing. But do you think perhaps this was her Oscar night dress, and a decision was made at the last minute to switch, feeling that she looked too much like an Oscar statue?

Either way, this was one of the best looks on the night, and potentially her best this awards season.

I’m just surprised that she doesn’t appear washed out, considering her blonde hair and minimal makeup.

A 1940’s gold and diamond swirl ring by Suzanne Belperron and KWIAT 3.0 carat each round brilliant -cut studs, in platinum completed her look.
