The 41st edition of the Crosse Internacional das Amendoeiras em Flor is scheduled for the 18th of February, Sunday, at Pista das Açoteias, in the municipality of Albufeira, from 10:00 am.
This Crosse, which is considered one of the greatest athletics events in the world, will be disputed simultaneously with the Regional Championship of Corta Mato Longo and with the 17th Corta Mato das Areias de São João.
In the afternoon, the Adapted Sports Regional Championship takes place.
The International Cross of Amendoeiras em Flor also includes School Sports, which will bring together nearly 3000 participants representing 80 percent of schools in the Algarve. This year, the Corta Mato Regional School Sport will take place on the 24th of February, at 9:00 am, at the Pista de Crosse das Açoteias.
In this competition, students and schools will be selected, from the beginners and youth levels, of both sexes, who will represent the Regional Education Directorate of the Algarve in Corta Mato Nacional.
The Crosse Internacional das Amendoeiras em Flor, which will be broadcast by Bola TV between 12:00 and 13:30, is organized by the Algarve Athletics Association with the support of the Albufeira City Council and the Areias de São João Sports Club.
