Rube Goldberg Machines

Haven't you always wanted a curricularly-relevant excuse to study Rube Goldberg machines, and to be able to give your students an opportunity to try making one? If you are a teacher of grades 5-9 in British Columbia, now you have one. The design process principles covered in the Applied Design, Skills and Technologies curriculum for these grades line up with the process used to create one of these machines; having fun and creative expression are thrown in for free!
