Miley Cyrus working on new music with superstar producer behind hits for Taylor Swift
DESPITE barely being seen this year, Miley Cyrus has dominated the airwaves with mega-hit Flowers.
Now she is plotting to maintain her grip on the charts by teaming up with a man who knows perfectly well how to sell millions of records.
Miley is said to have tapped up Taylor Swift’s long-term collaborator Jack Antonoff to try to create hits together.
Details of the meeting appeared to leak online after one of Miley’s fans let slip: “According to one of my friends who works on recording engineering, Miley Cyrus has arranged a meeting with Jack Antonoff for a studio session.”
Jack has helped craft some of Taylor’s biggest singles, including Anti-Hero, Look What You Made Me Do and Cruel Summer.
He has also co-written songs with Lana Del Rey, Lorde, The 1975, Florence + The Machine and many more.
Miley’s mum Tish last week confirmed the former Disney star is working on a new album.
Talking about tying the knot with Dominic Purcell at Miley’s Malibu home in August, Tish said: “As for the song I walked down the aisle to, it was a song that Miley wrote that is going to be on her next album.
“It was absolutely perfection.”
TAYLOR Swift leads the nominations for the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The Anti-Hero singer has landed seven nods, including for Best Artist, Best Song and Best Video.
The ceremony, which will air live from Paris on November 5 at 8pm on MTV, is set to be dominated by women, as Olivia Rodrigo and SZA are just behind Taylor with six nods each, while Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj have four apiece.

Other nominees include Ed Sheeran, Central Cee, Arctic Monkeys and Cardi B.

SOME of Naomi Campbell’s most iconic outfits are going on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London to celebrate her 40-year career in fashion.

The display will take items from the supermodel’s extensive wardrobe as well as haute couture pieces loaned from famous fashion houses.
The exhibit, which is bound to be a hot ticket, will open on June 22 next year and run for nine months.
Outfits worn by Naomi by designers including Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld, Virgil Abloh and Vivienne Westwood will be included.
Naomi said: “I’m honoured to be asked by the V&A to share my life in clothes with the world.”
There is currently a huge exhibition there all about the world’s biggest divas.
Perhaps that’s what gave them the idea to give this notorious diva her very own display.
WEEKND IS HIGHLIGHT OF 2023
THE Weeknd’s greatest hits collection The Highlights is the UK’s best-selling album of the year so far.
Official Charts has revealed it is ahead of Taylor Swift’s Midnights, with Harry Styles’ Harry’s House at No3, Elton John’s Diamonds at No4, and SZA’s SOS in fifth place.
Lewis Capaldi has the biggest new release of 2023 so far with Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent.
Released in May, it is at No8 on the list, even though he hasn’t done any promotion for it for months, as he takes time out to work on his mental health.
Other records in the top ten include compilations from Fleetwood Mac, Eminem and ABBA.
RI-RI SUNNIN’ IT AND STUNNIN’ IT
RIHANNA is getting dressed up to the nines again two months after giving birth to her second baby.
She looked incredible here as she joined partner A$AP Rocky for a celebratory dinner in New York to mark his 35th birthday.
But in a hint that their new son may be keeping them awake for most of the night, she kept her eyes firmly hidden in a pair of sunglasses, despite it being dark outside.
It has been a whirlwind year for the singer, who announced her pregnancy while performing at the Super Bowl American football half-time show in February.

BRIT'S NEXT BOOK TO PACK DRAMA
BRITNEY Spears has already started work on her second tell-all book.
The pop star will release her autobiography The Woman In Me in just over a fortnight.
But the singer posted a video on Instagram recorded on a plane with the caption: “Riding ’n writing. All I’m doing at the moment . . . volume two coming after one #WomanInMe.”
The Slave 4 U hitmaker split from husband Sam Asghari in August after completing the first instalment.
And given Sam’s antics since their break up was made public, I’m sure Britney has a lot of things to say which could fill a fair few pages in her next tome.
She has had a rough ride over the past few months, with fans calling police to her home to check on her, most recently after she filmed a video of herself dancing with knives.
She took to Instagram over the weekend to vent, telling her 42.4million followers: “So unacceptable for cops to listen to random fans and come into my home unwarranted.
“The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people did four minute perform-ances with knives.
“I am getting an apology.
“I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now, it’s enough.”
