Fr. John D’Silva comes from a sleepy village called ‘Saligao’ at the foot of a hill. The author has spent good many years in quest of History. He is a natural historian, having a credit of tracing his own family tree upto six generations. He is very keen to study the history of a particular place where he is assigned as parish priest. He has keen interest and affection for Konkani his mother tongue.
