Police are looking for two suspects who used a forklift to steal an ATM, only to drop it in the middle of the road during the getaway.

Surveillance video shows a forklift pulling into the ATM driveway at local bank in Sacramento. One of the suspects, wearing an orange safety vest, rams the forklift into the ATM, knocking it to the ground with a crash.

A second suspect backs a pickup truck close to the ATM, while the forklift rams it again and eventually gets it loaded.

The truck then flees the scene. Shortly after, the ATM fell out of the truck in the middle of the road, causing a crash, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Both suspects got away and have not been identified or found. No money was stolen from the ATM.

Terry Sanchez, whose truck hit the ATM after it fell into the road, told KCRA 3 that he did not see the machine because it was dark and "was just something you don't expect every day."

Luckily, the damage to his truck was minor and he was uninjured.
