Anne Hathaway ditched the glitz and glam for her latest anniversary.

The She Came to Me actress, 40, revealed on Thursday's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers that she spent the special occasion with husband Adam Shulman indoors thanks to the heavy rains in New York City at the time.

“Got rained out… [It was] this past Friday,” explained Hathaway.

“Oh yeah, that's a terrible day. That’s literally the skies sending an omen. Yeah,” host Seth Meyers replied. She joked back, “That you should just let your ambition be dead. And so we did.”

Despite the rain, she said they were still able to make the best of it with a cozy night in while watching a popular ABC show. “We just kind of like, re-pajamaed,” the actress recalled, noting that they ended up just cuddling and watching TV.

She continued, “You know I had a moment when I was curled up on his chest and we were watching hour three of Abbott Elementary and I was like, ‘I’m so happy.’ This is the right guy for me.”

Meyers teased that “if you can re-pajama with someone” it meant that “you’ve chosen the right mate,” and Hathaway admitted that the thought did come to mind.

Later in the interview, she shared that she met Shulman around the same time she met Meyers, in October 2008. However, it wasn't until she headed to L.A. to film a movie later that year that she and her future husband became close.

The Devil Wears Prada star told Harper's Bazaar UK in 2013 that she felt an instant attraction to him.

She had been getting over a breakup when she met Shulman through mutual friends. Despite her reservations, she said, "I took my trust out for a ridiculous joyride with him."

The two married in September 2012 after dating for four years. The couple tied the knot in a scenic Big Sur wedding on the California coast. Since then, they've welcomed two sons: Jonathan, 7, and Jack, 3.

"He changed my ability to be in the world comfortably," Hathaway gushed to Elle in 2017. "I think the accepted narrative now is that we, as women, don't need anybody. But I need my husband. His unique and specific love has changed me."
