Summary
James Franco is a well-known actor, director, screenwriter, film producer, and artist. He got his start in acting with the short lived TV series Freak and Geeks and has since rose to stardom in films such as the Spider Man trilogy and Pineapple Express.
In 2001 he won the Golden Globe for Best Actor for his portrayal of James Dean in a made-for-TV biographical film. In 2006, he starred in three movies, Tristan & Isolde, Annapolis and Flyboys and is currently working on Gus Van Sant's upcoming Harvey Milk bio-pic Milk with Sean Penn.
