[Rewarded Review] TO WEBROOT OR NOT
GaynellcF001· Review provided by bestbuy.com · November 13, 2023
I received a 6 month Subscription gratis with the purchase of my Lenovo Flex 3 Chromebook OS and being security conscious, I was excited to have opportunity to try on not only my laptop but my phone and tablet as well. And it was in trying to extend the coverage to my other devices that I encountered the biggest hiccup - because it was not compatible at all with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7Lite tablet. But even more infuriating was the hours I spent trying, unsuccessfully, to follow the instructions and bridge the subscription over to my Oukitel WP5. While I realize that I dont use a standard Android, the internal systems are completely current with Android 10, etc.

Fortunately, I had no pressing need for Serious security and, as luck would have it, the Chromebook came equipped with some impressive internal security features - which was a good thing because WEBROOT was constantly going down on the laptop.

As luck would have it, investing in a Microsoft 360 package included Microsoft Defender and using that as well as Google 1 VPN has proved, so far, to be easier to use across my devices as well as sufficient for my needs.

So, Im reluctant to recommend WebRoot - I was excited to try it but disappointed with the glitches and performance. But, like I said, my security needs aren't that great at this point and I have yet to buy the devices that will make for smoother compatibility.

If you have a chance, as I did, to give it a trial run, maybe it will fit your needs and equipment better than it did mine.
Absolute best for price.

As one of the few companies that still offers competitive quality service, I completely trust and highly recommend this product. I highly respect Webroot for their occasional promotional opportunities to provide a discount, when possible, to make Antivirus affordable for all while still providing a high quality protection service bundle. That is how I purchased this. This is my second time purchasing this product but this time I chose this bundle deal to “upgrade” a bit and I have no regrets. I had a case of stolen identity and have had no problems with that since purchasing this product. I’ve previously only bought Antivirus protection when I was in my teens but now as an adult I’m glad I upgraded. At the moment, this is still the most affordable and most high quality product I’ve purchased from Webroot and have no plans in switching in the later future.
Happy so far.

Overall I am satisfied with this product. installed on laptop and it was fighting my previous free version antivirus software. It was picking up everyhting. I uninstalled previous antivirus software and the scans are 100% clean always always. This leave me a little paranoid that soething is slipping by its protection. Also installed on two other devices and when I scan them nothing ever pops up there either. One device was brand new, so I kind of expected nothing there, but the other device was several years old and nothing there either......Its easy to use just click three times and boom downloaded, click twice or 3 times more and it is scanning. The advanced features seem to be working as well.
Secure Anywhere or Security Plus?
OdieNermal· Review provided by webroot.com · November 22, 2024
The product offered this year is sold as Webroot Security Plus. We have purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere for several years and every year the subscription is added on to the end of the prior subscription. Not so this year. We lost several days. Because you are marketing it as Security Plus instead of Secure Anywhere which we've always bought? The download email we received after paying for a new subscription says it will be billed as Secure Anywhere while the order says Security Plus. If these are indeed Secure Anywhere programs, then the subscription should have been added to the end of the one we bought last year. Also why do you keep sending us emails saying our Secure Anywhere has expired when we bought & installed a new one???
