Clearly, the decoration of any room is made up of the sum its various parts: lighting, flooring, walls, woodwork, trim, windows, storage, soft furnishings, furniture, art and objects -- or objects d'art -- flowers, plants, what you will, and, of course, details like hardware, fabric trims, and so on and so forth. A color scheme and budget has to be decided upon, a list drawn up of what is currently available and what has to be bought and, above all, a decorating style must be considered which will suit both ourselves and our home.
